Prayer for Vocations
Jesus, Good Shepherd, grant that the men and women of our community may have the grace and courage to hear and answer your call to the priesthood and religious life. Give them the wisdom to realize that their lives are part of your plan. Call forth those you have chosen to spread the Gospel message of transforming love. Help them freely respond to a life of service to the Church. May the parents and families of our church parish support and encourage our young men and women to search for, and answer, the call of God in their lives. Amen.

The Prayer Intentions of Pope Francis for October:
Sovereign Lord, during this month of October, we lift up to you all workers and the unemployed. May all workers receive respect and the protection of their rights. May the unemployed receive the opportunity to contribute to the common good.
